Limi Feu - the alias of Limi Yamamoto, daughter of Yōji - is quickly becoming one of my new favorite designers.
not that Limi is in any way new to fashion world - she made her debut at Tokyo Fashion Week back in 2000, and has been a regular ever since. however, it wasn't until October 2007 that she had her first international showing, then at Paris Fashion Week, where she was met by praise and applause. clearly, it seems, she is her father's daughter.
I have to say though, despite Limi's designs being somewhat reminicent of Yōji's, she's a designer in her own right, and a truly fantastic one at that!
my favorites from both the S/S 08 and the F/W 08/09 collections;
SPRING/SUMMER
simple and stylish, yet quirky.
"I wanted it to be Japanese," said Feu about this collection, and it certainly is!
my favorite from S/S 08 - so cute, girly and flirty, while still being very classic and simple.
FALL/WINTER
fitted empirewaist coats are my favorites, and this one is just stunning!
cute, while still keeping warm
so elegant and girly~! this is my favorite of her pieces, i would totally go to tokyo just to buy this!
